Give Thanks!

Giving thanks

Historian H. U. Westermayer wrote, “The Pilgrims made seven times more graves than huts. No Americans have been more impoverished than these who, nevertheless, set aside a day of thanksgiving.”

As we head towards another Thanksgiving, take the lead this year and write down ten things you are thankful for and share them with your family before the bird is carved.  We have so much, but appreciate so little. Let’s really focus this year on how truly blessed we all are.

And, let’s remember military families during the holidays.

God’s Blessings on You and Yours this Holiday Season

What happens when a desperate people plug into a powerful God?

The underground church in China is experiencing an explosion of the Power of God. See how God is moving in a communist nation. The Western Church has become desensitized to the intense persecution of Christians around the globe. It’s so easy to go through our daily routine and forget that our Christian brothers and sisters are being tortured for what they believe.

Praise God for the bold and courageous people of China! Don’t pray for the persecution to stop, but pray that the Lord would continue to rain down his glory and power and the entire country of China would see that Jesus is King!!

I’m sooooo fired up right. God I ask for the faith and courage of my Chinese brothers and sisters to be released in America today…Hallelujah!!!

I haven’t been doing very much blogging recently. I have been one freaking busy dude…and yes that is an excuse. Anyways, as you obviously know we had an election this past week! i was soooo stoked because i really thought we finally had this abortion issue. i was also excited for McCain what he stands for! i guess note quite enough people had the same stance as i did.

i am kind of glad that i haven’t had time to blog in the last few days. if i would of had time on Tuesday night or even wed i prolly would have said some stupid things because of my anger! i was soooooo frustrated by the outcome of the election. GOD really convicted me about how i viewed Obama on Wednesday though. He calls us to respect and PRAY for our leaders. This is a hard thing too do. its our human nature to not want to pray for the people we don’t care for( to put it kindly). i am not saying that i support the ideals that mr.Obama is bringing to the table. He needs our prayers!

There has been alot of focus in the campaigns on change…hope etc. i agree that we need a definite change. i will tell you one thing however, i know where i find my hope and my change! i find my hope and my change in my CREATOR! I ALREADY HAVE A SAVIOR…I NEED A PRESIDENT!!!

Romans 8:20-30

20For the creation was subjected to frustration, not by its own choice, but by the will of the one who subjected it, in hope 21that the creation itself will be liberated from its bondage to decay and brought into the glorious freedom of the children of God.

22We know that the whole creation has been groaning as in the pains of childbirth right up to the present time. 23Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. 24For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what he already has? 25But if we hope for what we do not yet have, we wait for it patiently.

26In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express. 27And he who searches our hearts knows the mind of the Spirit, because the Spirit intercedes for the saints in accordance with God’s will.

Peace & Love

Obama Nation!!

if you are at all familiar with the Bible you probably have heard the phrase “abomination of desolation.” Jesus mentions this in Matthew 24 as he describes different signs of the end of the age. If you remember a few months back when Obama was running against Hilary in the Primaries. One of his campaign slogans was “Obama Nation.” I don’t think it is coincidental at all that the 43 President of the United States has a last name, that coincides perfectly with the word “Abomination.” I don’t know what the future of our country holds, but I can tell you this – strap on your discernment radar every morning, Do Not be decieved. Recognize that while Barack Obama is our President, King Jesus is still Lord over all!!

Read Matthew 24. Watch for the signs that the end is near. Live with an eternal mind-set. Our Country may face some challenges, but lets fix our eyes on Jesus – HE is our ROCK!!

Pray for our President – Who knows maybe God will show up in his bedroom and give him a whack of JESUS JUICE!!
